• Truth Matters: Strategies for Combating Manipulated Realities seminar at Helsinki City Library Oodi
• New short-term travel grant launched for partnership-building
• 70th anniversary of the ASLA-Fulbright Exchanges and the Centennial of Finnish-U.S. diplomatic relations. The anniversary year was celebrated, among others, at the Finnish Embassy in Washington D.C. in May

• Over EUR 1,8 million awarded as grants, co-sponsored grants included
• Total of 112 grantees (52 grantees to the U.S., 60 U.S. grantees to Finland)
• Altogether 22 grant programs to the U.S.: 10 for students, 8 for researchers, 4 for professionals
• Altogether 23 grant programs to Finland: 5 for students, 13 for researchers and 5 for professionals and specialists

Alumni

• Hundreds of active alumni in Finland and the United States serving as experts, academic reviewers, Board members, and in various other capacities related to the ���������� and its programs.
• In the U.S., there are 724 Fulbright Finland U.S. alumni within the Friends of Fulbright Finland Network
• Total of 72 American alumni serve in the Welcome Network in the U.S. 
• Total of 160 members in the ASLA-Fulbright Alumni Association in Finland
• 48 Finnish alumni participated in the Buddy Program in Finland serving as friends and mentors for U.S. grantees

Fulbright Finland Statistics 2019

• Over 4 400 client contacts in total, event participants included, out of which over 850 Fulbright Speaker program participants. 39 % of all contacts, event participants included, were international educational professionals.
• 74 information sessions, seminars, conferences, and Fulbright Speaker Program sessions throughout Finland
• Website: over 248 700 page views and 76 000 website visitors.
• Fulbright Finland News magazines: printed circulation 800 and digital reach over 2 800.
