ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ 75th Anniversary Celebration & Friends of Fulbright Finland Alumni Meet and Greet

Come and join us to raise a toast to the continuing success of Finnish-American Fulbright partnerships and Finnish-American relations!

The FoFF Alumni Council is welcoming you and your family to Mystic, CT, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ and U.S.-Finnish exchanges. All Fulbright Finland alumni and their families and friends are welcome to join!

This event is organized by the volunteers of the Friends of Fulbright Finland Alumni Council in collaboration with the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ion. We are grateful to the Finlandia ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ion National and Mystic Seaport Museum for their collaboration and sponsorship that helps make this event possible.

Participant fee: USD 75/person (non-refundable). Participant fee is not tax-deductible.

If you wish to also donate as part of the 75th Anniversary campaign for the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ion grants, you can (tax-deductible). Please be sure to designate your donation to go to the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ 75th Anniversary fund. Help us support new grantees!

This unique event includes a reception at the Mystic Seaport Museum, followed by other special opportunities organized by the Council. Based on your preference and schedule, you can choose to attend only the reception or all components of the weekend:

Friday, May 24, 2024 (all times EST):

  • Admission to Mystic Seaport Museum, America’s largest maritime heritage museum, any time between 10 am – 5 pm. 
  • A complimentary Museum staff lead tour will take place from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
  • Reception 5:00 – 6:15 pm. The reception includes special remarks and networking. Light refreshments will be provided during the reception.
  • Historic Steamboat river cruise 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Immediately following the reception, alumni and their families are invited to enjoy a sunset cruise down the Mystic River.
  • Optional visit to local restaurants

Saturday, May 25, 2024:

  • Visit to the Mystic Aquarium (limited number of free tickets available)
